Position HR Generalist
Job Description

A Japanese industrial bearing producer for more than 75 years. Global presence under the brand name “IKO.” Producer of high quality products and innovating products throughout various industries.
Production in Asia, distribution head office for Europe in the Netherlands. We are seeking a HR Generalist to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. To us, an HR Generalist is the go-to person for all employee-related issues. This means that your HR duties will involve managing activities such as payroll, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management. People are our most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of a complete HR Generalist’s job description and specification. This position will be working closely with Managing Director and Controller.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
• Manage the recruitment and selection process when necessary
• Manage expat visa applications, 30% ruling and assist with expat integration
• Payroll support for Netherlands, United Kingdom, France and Poland
• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization such as employee handbook.
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Illness administration
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
• Report to management and provide decision support

Job Requirements

Requirements
• Proven 5-10 years working experience in the HR field
• Education HBO and Higher
• Writing and speaking fluent in Dutch and English
• People oriented, negotiations, strategic leadership
• Eager to learn
• Knowledge in payroll will be preferable.
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
• In-depth knowledge of National labor law and HR best practices.
• Degree in Human Resources or related field

Other Remarks

• Working hours 8:30-17:00. Lunch break 45 min. Full week is 37.75hours
• Annual salary from €60.000 to €70.000 depending on experience
• 26 vacation days per year
