JCC / JETRO / EY co-presents “Urgent Coronavirus (COVID-19) Webinar
Ordinary member only
With the full cooperation of EY Japan Business Services (JBS) and JETRO, JCC will organize the webinar in the afternoon on Wednesday, April 8. This will be held in place of the regular seminar scheduled in April, and experts will explain on the urgent issues facing the coronavirus spread.
The coronavirus (COVID-19) is spreading very fast and it becomes a serious concerns worldwide. Now Europe becomes at the center of the pandemic. The Japanese government has raised the level of the Travel advice and Warning of some European countries, including the Netherlands, from 2 to 3 (Avoid all travel). The EU has also placed restrictions on any unnecessary travel from third countries to Europe (all EU member states, all countries in the Schengen region and the United Kingdom). In the Netherlands, Prime minister Rutte announced stricter measures on 23 March and the situation has been changing day by day.
Under such circumstances, it is the time of personnel change and transfer in March and April for most of Japanese companies, it is important to understand the latest immigration regulation regarding the visa application and moving in/out the Netherlands. Additionally, most of the employees are working at home and it is recommendable to know the HR and labor law point of view as well as the new updates on the temporary emergency measures announced by the Dutch government. Finally, it is necessary to consider the points in audit and financial statement for the year end of March together with disclosure methods in the directors’ report due to Corona.
We will send a link of the webinar to the people who registered.
If you have any questions regarding this seminar, please feel free to contact JCC office.
We are looking forward to your participation to this seminar.
