JCC/JETRO/EY Seminar “EX – Introduction of new business cases toward the carbon neutrality”
JCC/JETRO/EY Seminar
“EX – Introduction of new business cases toward the carbon neutrality”
We are pleased to invite you to the seminar which will be held in the afternoon (CET) on Wednesday, 29 March with full supports from Ernst & Young Netherlands, Japan Business Services (JBS) and JETRO Amsterdam.
The European Commission announced a number of energy-related bills aimed at realizing the “European Green Deal”, which aims to make the EU climate neutral by 2050. Among them, EX (Energy Transformation) is set as one of the pillars of the European Green Deal, and the Dutch government has established a number of support measures, such as subsidies for energy businesses, in order to attract foreign investment. In this way, energy policy is not only a major issue for achieving climate neutrality, but it is also widely recognized as a major opportunity for Japanese companies to create new businesses.
Based on this situation, we will introduce the current situation and issues of energy policies in the EU and the Netherlands, as well as future measures, while taking up examples of cooperation between the Netherlands and Japan in energy-related businesses, EX strategies, and carbon management projects by inviting speakers from government, port authority and Japanese companies.
We will organize a casual reception after the seminar for building a network among members.
Please register your attendance on the JCC website no later than Wednesday, 22 March 2023. We will send a detail just before the seminar to registered people.
Please note that registration for this seminar will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is highly recommended because of the limitation of the seminar capacity.
